Review Criteria manuskrip/artikel yang digunakan pada artikel yang diterbitkan di jurnal Sabda Fakultas Ilmu Budaya mulai penerbitan tahun 2014. Artikel diawali dengan Judul Artikel, Nama Penulis, Alamat Afiliasi Penulis, diikuti dengan abstrak yang ditulis dengan huruf miring (Italic) sepanjang 150-200 kata. Khusus untuk Abstrak, teks ditulis dengan margin kiri 35 mm dan margin kanan 30 mm dengan ukuran font 10 pt dan jenis huruf Times New Roman serta jarak antar baris satu spasi. Isi abstrak: latar belakang; tujuan penelitian; metodologi penelitian; hasil penelitian. Jika artikel berbahasa Indonesia, maka abstrak harus ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris yang baik dan benar. Jika artikel berbahasa Inggris, maka abstrak harus ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris saja. Bagian Abstrak harus memuat inti permasalahan yang akan dikemukakan, metode pemecahannya, dan hasil-hasil temuan saintifik yang diperoleh serta simpulan. Abstrak untuk masing-masing bahasa hanya boleh dituliskan dalam satu paragraf saja dengan format satu kolom.

Abstract

[Title: Please Type Title of Article in English in here and Bold formated] This is a new author guidelines and article template of Faculty of Humanities journal since year 2014 publication. Article should be started by Title of Article followed by Authors Name and Affiliation Address and abstract. This abstract section should be typed in Italic font and font size of 10 pt and number of words of 150-200. Special for the abstract section, please use left margin of 25 mm, top margin of 30 mm, right and bottom margins of 20 mm. The single spacing should be used between lines in this article. Abstract contents: background; research purposes; research methodology; research result. If article is written in Indonesian, the abstract should be typed in Indonesian and English. Meanwhile, if article is written in English, the abstract should be typed in English only. The abstract should be typed as concise as possible and should be composed of: problem statement, method, scientific finding results, and short conclusion. The abstract should only be typed in one paragraph and one-column format.

1. Pendahuluan

Pendahuluan harus berisi (secara berurutan) latar belakang umum, kajian literatur terdahulu (state of the art) sebagai dasar pernyataan kebaruan ilmiah dari artikel, pernyataan kebaruan ilmiah, dan permasalahan penelitian atau hipotesis. Di bagian akhir pendahuluan harus dituliskan tujuan kajian artikel tersebut. Di dalam format artikel ilmiah tidak diperkenankan adanya tinjauan pustaka sebagaimana di laporan penelitian, tetapi diwujudkan dalam bentuk kajian literatur terdahulu (state of the art) untuk menunjukkan kebaruan ilmiah artikel tersebut.

2. Hasil dan Pembahasan

Hasil dan pembahasan berisi hasil-hasil temuan penelitian dan pembahasannya secara ilmiah. Tuliskan temuan-temuan ilmiah (scientific finding) yang diperoleh dari hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan tetapi harus ditunjang oleh data-data yang memadai. Temuan ilmiah yang dimaksud di sini adalah bukan data-data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh. Temuan-temuan ilmiah tersebut harus dijelaskan secara saintifik meliputi: Apakah temuan ilmiah yang diperoleh? Mengapa hal itu bisa terjadi? Mengapa trend variabel seperti itu? Semua pertanyaan tersebut harus dijelaskan secara saintifik, tidak hanya deskriptif, bila perlu ditunjang oleh fenomena-fenomena dasar ilmiah yang memadai. Selain itu, harus dijelaskan juga perbandingannya dengan hasil-hasil para peneliti lain yang hampir sama topiknya. Hasil-hasil penelitian dan temuan harus bisa menjawab hipotesis penelitian di bagian pendahuluan.

3. Kesimpulan

Kesimpulan menggambarkan jawaban dari hipotesis dan/atau tujuan penelitian atau temuan ilmiah yang diperoleh. Kesimpulan bukan berisi perulangan dari hasil dan pembahasan, tetapi lebih kepada ringkasan hasil temuan seperti yang diharapkan di tujuan atau hipotesis. Bila perlu, di bagian akhir kesimpulan dapat juga dituliskan hal-hal yang akan dilakukan terkait dengan gagasan selanjutnya dari penelitian tersebut.

Steps For Online Submission

After having username/password for logging in into SABDA: Jurnal Kajian Kebudayaan, the author will be brought into online author submission interface where the author should click “new submission” or click “click here” in the start new submission section.

Step 1 – Starting The Submission: The author should check-mark the journal check list and it should be appropriate with the article’s content. The author can give comment to the editor in the comments for editor section.

Step 2 – Uploading The Submission: To upload the manuscript into the journal, click browse/choose file on the upload submission file and choose the manuscript document file (.doc/.docx) to be submitted, then click “upload” button until the file has been uploaded.

Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detail authors metadata should be entered including marked corresponding author. After that, manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.

Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: Supplementary file should be uploaded including Covering/Submission Letter, and Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement Form. Therefore, click on Browse button, choose the files, and then click on Upload button. If there is no supplementary files to be uploaded just click “save and continue” button.

Step – 5 Confirming The Submission: Author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to SABDA: Jurnal Kajian Kebudayaan, click Finish Submission button after the documents are true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgment by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.

After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
