Submission to this journal proceeds totally online and must be submitted at https://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/smo/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions

When authors submit their manuscripts, the authors are required to follow the term and conditions specified by Jurnal Studi Manajemen Organisasi journal as described in the following part.

Code of Ethics

To maintain the authenticity of the manuscript, the author must ensure that:

  1. The manuscript doesn’t contain plagiarism, falsification and fabrication of data
  2. Must not be submitted to another publication and not be under review for publication elsewhere during the Jurnal Studi Manajemen Organisasi process
  3. Must not be accepted for publication elsewhere
  4. Must follow the requirements, term and conditions specified by the Jurnal Studi Manajemen Organisasi

Format

Manuscripts should be written concisely as possible, consistent, and straightforward. The length of the article is 15-20 pages in A4 size paper (around 3000-6000 words) including figures, tables, and appendix. The margin used are (left and right = 3, top = 2.5cm, and bottom = 3cm), while the letter type used is Times New Roman 12 pt. The manuscript must be written in English following the APA (The American Psychological Association) 6th style.

Title 

The title is written in times new roman 14pt. Insert the short title which has a brief description about the manuscripts. The title used for an information on searches system.

Author Name and Affiliation 

Author name write in times new roman 12. Insert the full name of each author and make sure no errors in spelling. Author's affiliation is written under the name of the author by giving the superscript lowercase form on each author's name. Affiliation includes the institution of origin authors with the email address of each author.

Corresponding Author 

Specify explicitly the author who responsible for communication in the publishing process and after the article was published. This responsibility includes the questions that appear related methodologies and materials. Make sure the email address of the corresponding author is written properly for the purposes of communication.

Abstract

The abstract consists of no more than 200 words, summarizing the motivation of the study, objective, research methodology and general findings. Abstract should be written in good English and includes 5 keywords. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes. JEL Classification. two-digit number classification of Journal of Economic Literature (JEL)

The AEFR requires the manuscript is presented in several sections: introductionliterature studyresearch methodologyresult and discussionconclusion; and references.

  1. Introduction

    It covers background of study, motivation in writing the paper, problems, brief literature review that relates directly to research or previous findings that need to be developed, and ended with   a paragraph of research purposes. It should be written in paragraphs.

  2. Literature Study

    This part describes the literatures related to the study. It may consists of primary references (grand theory, concept); journal articles (preferable published in the last 10 years); main idea from text book or electronic articles. For empirical study which uses hypotheses development, the literatures aim to strengthen the arguments for variable selection and each proposed hypothesis.

  3. Research Methodology

    This section describes the research approach used in the study, underlines the data collection process, respondents list (for empirical study), and analysis process.

  4. Results and Discussion

    This part should describe informative results of empirical research which are
    written systematically and critically. Tables and figures can be presented in this part to support the discussion, for examples table of statistics-test results, figures of model test results and etc. In general, journal papers will contain three-seven figures and tables. Same data cannot be presented in the form of tables and figures.
    Discussion of results should be argumentative and should point out on how the findings, theories, previous study and empirical facts are relevant and contributes something new to knowledge of economics development.

  5. Conclusion

    This section provides a brief conclusion of the study, also includes the managerial and theoretical implications, limitation, and direction for further study.

References

This section consists of all the references used in the article which should be between 15-40 references. We also emphasize the authors to use current literatures published within the last 10 years by following the APA style (see the example below).

Tables and Figures

Tables and Fiigures should be numbered separately, sequentially using Arabic numerals, and titled informatively. These should be presented on separate pages at the end of the manuscript. While in the manuscript, authors need to specify the table and figure location as follow:

Tables should be submitted as data - .doc, .rtf, Excel file-, while tables submitted as image data are not accepted since these cannot be edited for publication. Figures which are provided electronically must be in .tif or .gif file extensions. All figures and graphics must have good quality originals that allows for clear resolution of the image in its printed application.

Each table is completed by the year the data are processed. The form of the table
should be written as in the following example. The title of the table is put on the top of
the table, left margin. Figure Tttle is written under the figure and graph using left margin.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
