KEBIJAKAN PENANGANAN KOTA LAMA SEMARANG

Abstract

The Old Area of Semarang is a part of multi ethnical kampong network
flourished since the period of 1500-1700. This areas existence should be seriously
managed by the government for the sake of its preservation and revitalization. It
is recommended that the Old Semarang Area should be managed by using
rational comprehensive as well as brainstorming problem-solving models. In the
implementation of these models it is expected that Semarang City Government,
universities, non-government organizations, various associations and other
interest groups understand more each character of the policy alternatives.
Therefore it is expected that there will be optimalization in the implementation of
the selected alternative.
