Abstract

The vigilante acts lately so much to find. Various kinds of things can be used as a factor contributing to the vigilante. In criminology, vigilante acts occur is because of an imbalance between the rights of offenders and victims. The victim was not received compensation in kind for crimes that have been made by the offender against him. Sense of public distrust of law enforcement officers into sociological factors causing the occurrence of vigilantism. Besides the influence of the political developments of the reform. Reformation caused the wrong meaning for some communities in which they feel have the freedom to act as they please regardless of the existing criminal law.

Abstrak

Tindakan main hakim sendiri akhir-akhir ini begitu banyak ditemukan. Banyak hal dapat menjadi faktor penyebab . Secara  kriminologi, tindakan main hakim sendiri terjadi adalah karena adanya ketidakseimbangan antara hak-hak pelaku dan korban. Korban tidak menerima kompensasi dalam bentuk pemidanaan pelaku karena kejahatan yang telah dilakukan oleh pelaku terhadap dirinya. Rasa ketidakpercayaan publik dari aparat penegak hukum menjadi faktor sosiologis yang  menyebabkan terjadinya main hakim sendiri. Selain pengaruh perkembangan politik reformasi. Reformasi menimbulkan arti yang salah untuk beberapa komunitas di mana mereka merasa memiliki kebebasan untuk bertindak sesuka mereka terlepas dari hukum pidana yang ada.
