KONFLIK ELIT POLITIK INDONESIA MASA AWAL REVOLUSI KEMERDEKAAN: MUNCULNYA DEKRIT WAPRES NO X 16 OKTOBER 1945

Abstract

The article aims at analysing the conflicting situation during the Indonesian revolution in the second half of the 1940s. the Indonesian independence revolution period was very short but it was the most dynamic period in Indonesian history especially in connection the implementation of governing the state. Iternally the new Indonesian government had to face complicated problem in connection with the plurality of political ideology. Eternally, the governement still also had to fight against foreign troops who still wanted to recolonize Indonesia. It is very interesting when fighting again foreign powers, there had been internal frictions and even sharp conflicts among Indonesian elites stemming from ideological differences. One of the solution was the issuing of Vice Presidential Decree No. X 16 October 1945) (Maklumat Wakil Presiden No. X, 16 Oktober 1945) which had implication to the change of implementation of statescraft in Indonesia. The solution was also a political strategy implemented by political elites leading to the strategy of diplomatics struggle.
