DAMPAK MOTORISASI TERHADAP KEHIDUPAN SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYRAKAT NELAYAN TAMBAK LOROK SEMARANG UTARA, 1970-2000

Abstract

Modernization of fishery is one of the most important goverment programs for improving the level live of fisherman economy. one sector of fishery modernization to modernize is applying of motorization in tambak lorok Semarang has increased of local fisherman's income. But, it cant be denied that motorization also negativy affects to the local fisherman in the sense thet they depend on the merchant (bakul). this condition is caused by limited capital and they powerless in accesing soft loan from funding agencies such as the bank and KUD Mina. further impact of this condition is the TPI is become unpopular market place for fisherman. they prefer to sell their catch directly to the lender merchant (bakul). By implementing historical and anthropological methods, this articles intends to analyze the impacts of motorization to the economic live of tambak lorok.
