Poverty is a condition in which a person or a group either male or female can not get their rights in order to survive and develop their human dignity. One of the solutions to remove poverty is through education. By getting education, people can develop their human capital. Good education gives people knowledge and skills in order to be more productive. Indonesian government, as stated in the 1945 Constitution, has carried out various things in increasing the participation of its people in education. The government has allocated more than 20 trillion as the state budget education. It is expected that such education can result in qualified human resources in various disciplines because education can become a strong foundation for two main pillars in removing poverty:(1) sustainable growth of economics that sides with poor people and (2) community welfare-oriented social development. Moreover, the government has taken some steps in order to expand the opportunity of educational access and distribution.
