PEMBERDAYAAN INDUSTRI KECIL BORDIR DI KABUPATEN KUDUS

Abstract

This research is aimed at describing marketing patterns, financial
condition, manpower quantity and quality, raw material avalaibility and technology
at embroidery small scale industry in Kudus Regency. This research was done
by using survey method, enriched with qualitative analysis using in-depth
interview. Research findings show that this industry is still using simple
development patterns, proved by its marketing which still relies on third party,
limited capital which hampers development efforts, limited innovation capability,
and limited technology causing limited production volume. However, this research
finds that skill and raw material availability are satisfactory. Therefore, it is
recommended that facilitation or guidance from the government is still needed
in order to empower this industry.
