REPOSISI KEBIJAKAN PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN NEGARA GLOBAL SOUTH PADA MASA KEPRESIDENAN DONALD TRUMP: CATATAN UNTUK INDONESIA

Abstract
Tulisan ini membahas tentang bagaimana perubahan kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Amerika Serikat (AS) pada masa kepresidenan Donald Trump turut mempengaruhi negara – negara lain secara global, terutama pada negara – negara global south. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana respons negara – negara global south terhadap perubahan kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan di AS pada masa kepresidenan Donald Trump. Melalui metode penelitian doktrinal dan pendekatan komparatif – historis, tulisan ini memiliki beberapa temuan. Pertama, kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan pada mulanya dinilai sebagai bentuk imperialisme baru dari negara – negara maju untuk membatasi pertumbuhan perekonomian negara – negara global south. Kedua, realisasi kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan pada negara – negara global south ditopang oleh donor yang diberikan oleh negara maju di mana AS menjadi penyumbang utamanya. Ketiga, perubahan kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan di AS tidak berdampak pada perubahan posisi negara – negara global south karena dampak dari permasalahan krisis iklim telah dirasakan langsung oleh setiap negara yang membangun kesadaran bahwa pembangunan berkelanjutan menjadi solusi permasalahan. Kesimpulan dari tulisan ini adalah sikap dari negara – negara lain dapat menjadi acuan bagi Indonesia untuk dapat menyatakan keberpihakan secara tegas atas kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
