ABSTRACT

This report discusses community service activity of creating storytelling animated videos. The aim of this activity is to add to English language learning materials which are attractive and relevant to young learners, i.e. play group (PG) to primary school (PS) students. It is expected that the videos can enhance their foreign language skills. Animated videos are considered capable of providing English language learners with a unique learning experience to enhance their abilities in pronunciation and vocabulary. This activity utilizes the project works from students of English Pronunciation course at Applied Foreign Languages Program of Universitas Diponegoro. The partner of this activity (i.e. school teachers) are satisfied with the videos. However, there are some notes to improve the quality of similar videos in the future. This activity does not only benefit the partners but also empowers the students to contribute to the community.
