We would like to inform you of several important updates regarding the editorial and publication policies of Bioma: Berkala Ilmiah Biologi, effective starting August 1, 2025:

1. Full English Manuscript Requirement
   In an effort to enhance international visibility and accessibility, Bioma will now publish all articles exclusively in English. Authors are kindly requested to prepare and submit manuscripts in English starting immediately.

2. New Layout Format
   To improve readability and modernize the appearance of published articles, the journal will adopt a single-column layout (replacing the previous two-column format). Please refer to our updated Author Guidelines and the latest manuscript template to ensure compliance with the new formatting standards.

3. Article Processing Charge (APC) Adjustment
   Beginning August 1, 2025, the Article Processing Charge will be adjusted from IDR 400,000 to IDR 500,000 per accepted article.

   • Submissions received before August 1, 2025 will remain subject to the current APC rate of IDR 400,000.

We strongly encourage all prospective authors to carefully review the updated guidelines and templates before submission to avoid delays in the editorial process.
