Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission Guidelines for authors.

Please read the guidelines below.

Only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the focus and scope of social or political sciences will be reviewed. As part of the submission process you will be required to warrant that you are submitting your original work, that you are submitting the work for first publication in the Journal and that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere and has not already been published elsewhere. The manuscript should be based on or the result of the latest research (5 years maximum) either independent or group research. Articles are allowed to be written in English. Here are some other provisions to note:

Preparing your manuscript

Article Text - The length of the article ranges from 4000 - 5000 words with 1.5 line spacing written in Word Perfect word processing program or Microsoft Word with the Times New Roman font type and in size 12 pt.

Writing Structure – Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you carefully read and adhere to all the guidelines of writing and formatting your article provided below.

Research Article:

(1) Title;

(2) Author's Name without an academic degree. The author's institution is written on the first page footer;

(3) Abstract in English should not be more than 150-300 words with keywords of 5 words;

(4) Introduction, contains explanations about research problems, research objectives, summary of theoretical studies related to the problem or research question. Preliminary presentation is narrative;

(5) Research Method, describes the design of research design, population and sample, data collection techniques and instrument development, data analysis techniques. The presentation is done narratively;

(6) Results and Discussion;

(7) Conclusion;

(8) Acknowledgement;

(9) Bibliography.

Conceptual (Non-Research) Article:

(1) Title;

(2) Author and institution name;

(3) Abstract and Keywords;

(4) Introduction;

(5) Discussion;

(6) Conclusion; 

(7) Acknowledgement;

(8) Bibliography

The provisions in clauses (1), (2), (3), and (7) are similar to the writing of Research Article.

The Tittle: The title of the article is written in capital letters all in bold on the left. Subtitles are written in lowercase bold-italic letters. Sub-subtitles are written in lowercase italic letters.

Quotes: Direct quotes less than or equal to 40 words, entered in sentences with quotation marks ("...."). Direct quotes of over 40 words are typed indented on the right and left sides with tight spacing (1 space). Indirect quotes are written in sentences without quotation marks. In all of these citation forms, the author's name, book year and page number are included.

Tables: Tables or graphs are created with WordPaper or Microsoft Word word processing programs. Tables or charts are only used if it really helps the reader to understand the substance of the material. If the material can be described in a narrative, the table or chart should not be used.

Reference Style: The reference list is arranged alphabetically by referring to the following example:

Submitting your manuscript

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
