Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of social media intensity, materialism on conspicuous consumption, impulse buying on social media users. The type of research conducted is quantitative. In data collection, convenience sampling techniques are used to obtain information from the desired respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) processed with SmartPLS software, with a total of 300 respondents. It is hoped that the results of this analysis can prove all the hypotheses proposed in this study.

Keywords: social media intensity; materialism; conspicuous consumption; impulse buying
