All accepted articles will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY-SA 4.0) License. Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.

Lentera Pustaka: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Perpustakaan, Informasi, dan Kearsipan welcomes submissions in the form of original research articles, and systematic review articles.

This journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Please see our Publication Ethics pages.

Declaration of interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work. Potential conflicts of interest involving the editorial team can be declared in the "Comments for Editor" section during submission. There’s no need to list colleagues from the same organization, as they are already considered potential conflicts of interest by default.

Submission declaration and verification

By submitting to this journal, authors confirm that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere (except as an abstract, part of a published lecture, academic thesis, or electronic preprint). Changes to authorship

The list of authors provided during submission is considered final and should not be altered. Authors must carefully determine the order and inclusion of co-authors. Changes to the author list (e.g., additions, removals, or rearrangements) are permitted only before the manuscript is accepted and must be approved by the Editors. Written consent from all authors, including those being added or removed, is required. Changes to authorship will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s Open Journal System (OJS) at this link. As part of the submission process, authors must check their submission's compliance with the Submission Preparation Checklist, it can help significantly shorten the time to publish, and the manuscript will be presented professionally in both format and content to a broad audience. 

PREPARATION

Double anonymous peer review

All submitted manuscripts must be original and undergo a double-anonymous peer review process. Author information must be included in the metadata upon submission in OJS but excluded from the manuscript itself. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. The final decision, made by the Editors, is considered final.

Submission files

The submission file is the docx format in Microsoft Word 2007 or later version. The manuscript is written on the A4 paper size and the content is displayed in single columns. please use the Lentera Pustaka: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Perpustakaan, Informasi dan Kearsipan template to make it easier for you to write the manuscript, in addition to helping the editor in layout editing process. As part of the submission process, authors must check their submission's compliance with the Authors Submission Preparation Checklist, it can help significantly shorten the time to publish, and the manuscript will be presented professionally in both format and content to a broad audience.

Article Structure

Manuscripts must be submitted in English and structured using the IMRaD (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion) format. you need to write the Results and Discussion chapter separately. Manuscripts can be any length, using figures and tables effectively. please used single-space, single column, and max 2 level heading in your manuscripts. use APA 7th Reference style and general Layout. We suggest there should be at least 20 references within the manuscript. The Author is recommended to use Mendeley Reference Manager for handling citations in the manuscript.

REVISING YOUR MANUSCRIPT

Revising Instructions

When revising your manuscript, upload the updated version through the submission system, ensuring that all requested changes have been addressed.

Before resubmitting, ensure that the manuscript complies with the journal's formatting and publication standards. A detailed checklist for formatting requirements is available here. Adhering to these guidelines can expedite the review process.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
