Salah satu alternatif untuk memperbaiki kejadian anemia pada remaja putri selain suplementasi tablet tambah darah adalah dengan meningkatkan konsumsi bahan makanan sumber protein hewani yang kaya akan zat besi. Sumber bahan makanan yang tinggi protein dan kaya akan zat besi diantaranya adalah Ikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kudapan berbasis ikan terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri yang mengalami anemia. Metode: Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode Quasi Eksperiment dengan randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswi yang mengalami anemia (Kadar Hb < 12 g/dl) di SMPN 1 Campalagian yang diperoleh dari hasil pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin menggunakan alat Hb-meter dan bersedia menjadi responden melalui pengisian informed consent. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan cara Probability Sampling. Kelompok perlakuan diberikan kudapan berbasis ikan dan tablet tambah darah, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya diberikan tablet tambah darah selama masing-masing 4 minggu. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskall-Wallis. Hasil: Hasil penelitian terhadap kadar Hb subjek di tiap kelompok meningkat signifikan, diduga karena kedua kelompok mendapatkan intervensi tablet tambah darah secara intensif dari sekolah, sehingga keduanya menunjukkan perbaikan kadar hemoglobin darah. Adapun BB dan Status gizi subjek tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan hingga akhir intervensi, namun berdasarkan selisih perubahan BB pada kelompok perlakuan mengalami kecenderungan perbaikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol dengan pertambahan berat badan. Simpulan: Pemberian asupan protein tinggi akan berpengaruh terhadap pertambahan berat badan serta signifikan dapat berpengaruh terhadap kadar hemoglobin darah remaja putri. One alternative to improve the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls other than iron supplementation is to increase the consumption of animal protein sources that are rich in iron. Sources of food that are high in protein and rich in iron include fish. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing fish-based snacks on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls with anemia. Method: The study was conducted using the Quasi Experiment method with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all female students who had anemia (Hb levels <12 g/dl) at SMPN 1 Campalagian obtained from the results of hemoglobin level examinations using an Hb-meter and were willing to become respondents by filling out an informed consent. Sampling was carried out using Probability Sampling. The treatment group was given fish-based snacks and iron tablets, while the control group was only given iron tablets for 4 weeks each. The research data were analyzed using the Kruskall-Wallis test. Result: The results of the study on the Hb levels of subjects in each group increased significantly, allegedly because both groups received intensive iron tablet intervention from the school, so that both showed improvements in blood hemoglobin levels. The BB and nutritional status of the subjects did not show significant differences until the end of the intervention, but based on the difference in BB changes in the treatment group there was a tendency for improvement compared to the control group with weight gain. Conclusion: Providing high protein intake will affect weight gain and can significantly affect the hemoglobin levels in the blood of adolescent girls.
