1. On 26 January 2018, the name of the journal was changed from POLITIKA : Jurnal Ilmu Politik, to be Politika : Jurnal Ilmu Politik

4. On 26 January 2018 the principal contact was changed from "Lusia Astrika" to "Laila Alfirdaus" with the new email address at politika@live.undip.ac.id.

33. On 22 June 2020 at 16.35 editor retracted a journal article written by Hasan Basri with title ""Konflik Pemerintah Aceh dan Pemerintah Pusat Pasca MoU Helsinki: Self-Governement", Vol 5, No 1 (2014)", as a response to a report from an author that some parts of the writing have similarties with his piece on another source.
