Pemetaan Kenyamanan Suhu Permukaan di Destinasi Pariwisata: Sebuah Strategi untuk Pariwisata Perkotaan yang Berkelanjutan

Abstract

Isu sustainability dalam konteks pariwisata sangat penting untuk ditanamkan, khususnya pada jenis pariwisata yang memiliki dampak besar terhadap lingkungan seperti urban tourism. Terdapat banyak kota di dunia ataupun di indonesia mengalami fenomena urban heat island yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh aktivitas Urban tourism. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemetaan kenyamanan suhu udara bagi wisatawan di Kota Makassar sebagai salah satu urban tourism di Indonesia. Terdapat 2 komponen utama yang menjadi inti dalam penelitian ini, yakni kondisi suhu permukaan eksisting dan tingkat kenyamanan suhu udara bagi manusia. Untuk mengetahui kondisi suhu permukaan di Kota Makassar, digunakan analisis land surface temperature menggunakan penginderaan jarak jauh. Tingkat kenyamanan suhu bagi manusia dirumuskan dengan tinjauan 3 standar yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yakni standar nasional indonesia, WHO dan ASHRAE. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa suhu permukaan Kota Makassar relatif tinggi. Jika dikomparasikan dengan tingkat toleransi kenyamanan suhu udara manusia, terdapat beberapa Kecamatan yang masuk dalam kategori tidak nyaman bagi manusia atau wisatawan yang berkunjung. Penerapan green infrastructure menjadi pendekatan yang sesuai bagi Kota Makassar untuk mereduksi dampak urban heat island.
