ABSTRAK

Pembangunan berkelanjutan (Sustaniable Development) telah menjadi agenda global dalam setiap proses pembangunan. Penerapan konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan di sektor pariwisata dikenal dengan konsep pembangunan pariwisata yang tanggap terhadap minat wisatawan dan keterlibatan langsung dari masyarakat setempat dengan tetap menekankan upaya perlindungan dan pengelolaannya yang berorientasi jangka panjang. Konsep pembangunan pariwisata berkelanjutan tersebut pada intinya menekankan empat prinsip, sebagai berikut: layak secara Ekonomi (Economically Feasible), berwawasan lingkungan (Environmentally Feasible), dapat diterima secara sosial (Socially Accepable), dapat diterapkan secara teknologi (Technologically Appropriate). Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Jepang bagi para pramuwisata desa wisata Kandri. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah berupa pengayaan pengetahuan bahasa yang didapat para pramuwisata.

ABSTRACT

Sustainable development has become a global agenda in every development process. The application of the concept of sustainable development in the tourism sector is known as the concept of tourism development that is responsive to tourist interest and direct involvement of the local community while still emphasizing protection and management efforts that are long-term oriented. The concept of sustainable tourism development emphasizes four principles: Economically Feasible, Environmentally Feasible, Socially Acceptable, and Technologically Appropriate. This activity aims to provide English and Japanese language training for Kandri tourist village tour guides. The result of this service is in the form of enrichment of language knowledge obtained by tour guides.
