CRITICAL APPROACHES TOWARDS SOCIAL CONTROL: FROM AN ANALYSIS OF STATE’S POWER TO CONTEMPORARY URBAN MARGINALITY IN ITALY

Abstract

This paper will describe type of new political identity social order will have to be displaced from the legal-coercive level  to a consensual level, so the “State” will have to produce social control as self-control and to contribute to fill an  almost empty space - apart some good studies leaded by Massimo Pavarini and Alessandro De Giorgi- about Italian security policies, specifically in the city of Milan. How social control by state will effected to urban marginality societies.
