Journal History

The International Journal of Renewable Energy Development was first commenced in 2012 published by Center of Biomass and Renewable Energy (CBIORE), Universitas Diponegoro.

Since 2012, the journal was publishing three issues (February, July, Oct) with 30 articles per year in average and already has high author diversities since then.

On Feb 2013, the journal was included in DOAJ as the largest database for open access journal.

On 2016, the journal was included in Emerging Science Citation Index (ESCI).

On 2019, the journal has been accepted to be indexed by Scopus, as the prestigious indexing services.

On Dec 2020, the journal was awarded DOAJ seal (a award for an exceptionally high level of publishing standards and best practice).  This means that the journal fulfills a set of criteria related to accessibility, openness, discoverability, reuse and author rights standared by DOAJ. The journal also collaborate with Portico for digital preservation services.

Starting 2021, the IJRED journal start to publish 4 issues a year (February, May, August, November) with the number of article 15-17 article per issue.
