Analisis Kemampuan Resapan Air pada Perubahan Tata Guna Lahan di DAS Melawi Kabupaten Melawi

Abstract

Sub DAS Melawi mengalami peningkatan banjir setiap tahun akibat penurunan daerah resapan air yang disebabkan oleh perubahan tata guna lahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan tata guna lahan dan kemampuan resapan air di sub DAS Melawi menggunakan parameter penggunaan lahan, curah hujan, kemiringan lereng, tekstur tanah, geohidrologi, dan gambut. Analisa data dilakukan untuk menghasilkan peta kondisi resapan air. Tata guna lahan sub DAS Melawi menggunakan periode tahun 1990 dan tahun 2020 untuk dibandingkan sehingga terlihat perubahan tata guna lahannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lahan tidak terlalu banyak mengalami perubahan. Penggunaan lahan terbesar yaitu pertanian lahan kering campur dan kawasan hutan. Perubahan kondisi daerah resapan air tidak terlalu terlihat namun cukup mengalami peningkatan dan penurunan luasan, yang didominasi oleh kondisi cukup kritis dengan peningkatan dari 50% menjadi 62% di tahun 2020. Sementara itu penurunan signifikan terjadi pada kondisi kritis yang mengalami penurunan sebesar 12% dengan luas mencapai 15% menjadi 3%. Kondisi daerah resapan air cukup kritis dengan persentase mencapai 62% melebihi dari setengah luas sub DAS menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan resapan air buruk.
