Darah dibedakan menjadi beberapa golongan yaitu A, B, O, dan AB. Secara konvensional, mendeteksi golongan darah dengan cara meneteskan serum anti-A dan serum anti-B ke darah yang akan dikenali kemudian melakukan pengamatan langsung terhadap reaksi tetesan serum tersebut. Hal ini yang menyebabkan terjadi kesalahan identifikasi mulai dari kurang teliti dan terburu-buru dalam mengamati. Mendeteksi golongan darah dapat dilakukan secara komputasi menggunakan pengenalan pola. Jaringan syaraf tiruan (JST) merupakan salah satu metode klasifikasi yang digunakan dalam pengenalan pola. beberapa metode JST yang digunakan dalam pengenalan pola diantaranya Hebb, LVQ, backpropagation dan perceptron. Penelitian ini membuat aplikasi pengenalan jenis golongan darah melalui citra menggunakan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan perceptron. Fitur yang dimiliki sistem ini antara lain menyimpan data latih, melakukan pelatihan data dan melakukan pengenalan jenis golongan darah. Output dari sistem ini adalah informasi berupa jenis golongan darah. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan metode waterfall yang diimplementasikan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman MATLAB dan database Microsoft Access. }, issn = {2777-0648}, pages = {1--10} doi = {10.21456/vol%viss%ipp1-11}, url = {https://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/jmasif/article/view/10794} }
