Kesulitan pembaca buku dalam menentukan buku yang akan dibaca disebabkan oleh banyaknya jumlah buku dan beragamnya jumlah buku yang ada. Solusi untuk permasalahan yang dialami pembaca adalah dengan menerapkan sistem rekomendasi buku yang dapat memberikan rekomendasi buku kepada pembaca buku. Metode item-based collaborative filtering dipilih sebagai metode yang diterapkan pada sistem rekomendasi buku dikarenakan metode item-based collaborative filtering memberikan hasil rekomendasi berdasarkan nilai kemiripan antar buku. Pengguna akan lebih tertarik dengan buku yang memiliki nilai kemiripan yang sama. Artikel ini mengusulkan pengembangan sistem rekomendasi buku berbasis web yang memanfaatkan metode item-based collaborative filtering untuk rekomendasi buku dengan nilai MAE 0,962858. Pengembangan sistem rekomendasi ini menggunakan model pengembangan waterfall, menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan sistem manajemen basis data MySQL. Sistem ini akan menghasilkan rekomendasi buku yang memudahkan pengguna dalam menentukan buku yang akan dibaca selanjutnya.}, issn = {2777-0648}, pages = {24--32} doi = {10.14710/jmasif.9.2.31482}, url = {https://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/jmasif/article/view/31482} }
