Pendidikan seksualitas di sekolah yaitu termuat dalam Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan 2006 pada mata pelajaran biologi, agama, pendidikan jasmani dan kesehatan serta bimbingan konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan Explanatory Research dan pendekatan cross sectional. Besar sampel adalah 120 orang guru SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang memiliki persepsi mengajar baik (50,8%) dan persepsi mengajar kurang (49,2%), kemudian berdasarkan mata pelajaran responden yang memiliki persepsi mengajar baik yaitu pada guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran biologi (53,3%), agama (56,7%), pendidikan jasmani dan kesehatan (53,3%) dan bimbingan konseling (40%). Faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap persepsi mengajar guru SMA dalam memberikan pendidikan seksualitas pada siswa/siswi SMA di Kota Pekanbaru adalah variabel persepsi guru SMA dari ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap. This study uses quantitative methods to the draft Explanatory Research by cross sectional approach. The sample size is 120 high school teachers. The results showed that respondents who have the good teaching perception (50.8%) and the less teaching perception (49.2%), then based on the subjects of respondents who have the good teaching perception is the teacher who teaches biology subjects (53.3%), religion (56.7%), physical education and health (53.3%), and guidance counseling (40%). Factors that influence the teaching perception of high school teachers in providing sexuality education to high school students in the city of Pekanbaru is the perception variable of high school teacher from the availability of facilities and complete infrastructure.
