Stasiun Semarang Tawang merupakan stasiun dengan tipe A yang digunakan sebagai penghubung utama dan titik tengah di jalur utara Pulau Jawa yang beroperasi selama 24 jam. Kebisingan di stasiun berasal dari padatnya lalu lintas kereta api. Kebisingan ialah salah satu polusi yang mengganggu lingkungan. Dampak dari kebisingan kereta api terjadinya gangguan fisiologis, salah satunya yaitu hipertensi. Faktor risiko hipertensi meliputi usia, masa kerja, obesitas, kebiasaan merokok, riwayat hipertensi, kebiasaan konsumsi alkohol, kebiasaan konsumsi garam berlebih, kebiasaan merokok, serta kebiasaan konsumsi lemak jenuh. Penelitian ini guna mengetahui hubungan intensitas kebisingan dan kejadian hipertensi pada pekerja stasiun. Metode: Penelitian ini ialah penelitian observasional analitik dengn pendekatan cross sectional dan metode analisis kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 128 pekerja di Stasiun Semarang Tawang. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling dan menggunakan rumus lameshow yang didapatkan jumlah sampel 100 pekerja. Analisis bivariat dengan uji chi square (α < 0,05) untuk menguji hubungan variabel dengan hipertensi. Hasil: Responden penelitian rata-rata berusia 41 tahun yang didominansi laki – laki (70%) dan mempunyai masa kerja ≥5 tahun (87%). Sebagian besar responden memiliki kebiasaan merokok (65%), sering mengonsumsi lemak jenuh (67%) dan mengonsumsi makanan tinggi garam(58%). Hasil pengukuran intensitas kebisingan tertinggi 94 dB(A), terendah 80 dB(A) dan rata – rata 85,5 dB(A). NAB kebisingan menurut Permenaker No. 5 tahun 2018 tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja di Lingkungan Kerja yaitu 85 dB(A). Hasil tabulasi silang di dapatkan sebanyak 40 responden (40%) mengalami hipertensi. Rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik di dapatkan 127,95 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolik di dapatkan rata – rata 81,94 mmHg. Hasil uji statistik medapatkan p-value intensitas kebisingan dengan hipertensi yaitu 0,001 nilai RP = 4,104 dan 95% CI (1,897 – 8,878) yang menunjukkan hubungan bermakna antara intensitas kebisingan dengan kejadian hipertensi. Simpulan: Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan yang bermakna terkait intensitas kebisingan dengan hipertensi. Semarang Tawang railway station is a type of station that is used as the main hub and midpoint on the northern route of Java Island which operates for 24 hours. Noise is one of the pollution that disturbs the environment. The impact of train noise is the occurence of physiological disorders, one of them is hypertension. Risk factors of hypertension are age, working period, obesity, history of hypertension, smoking habit, alcohol consumption habit, excessive salt consumption habit, smoking habit, and saturated fat consumption habit. This study aims to determine the relationship between noise intensity and the incidence of hypertension among railway workers. Method: This study is an analytical observational study with a cross sectional approach and quantitative analysis methode. The population of this study is 128 workers at Tawang Railway Station in Semarang. The sample was taken by purposive sampling method and using the Lameshow formula, a sample size of 100 workers was obtained. Bivariate analysis was performed using chi-square test (α < 0.05) to investigate the relationship between variables and hypertension. Result: The participants of this study were 41 years old, with a majority being male(70%) and having a work experience of at least 5 years(87%). Most of them have smoking habits(65%), cunsuming saturate fat(67%), and consume food high in salt(58%). The highest noise intensity measurement result was 94 dB(A), the lowest was 80 dB(A) and the average was 85,5 dB(A). The noise NAB according to Permenaker No. 5 of 2018 concerning Occupational Safety and Health in the Work Environment is 85 dB (A). The results of cross tabulation found that 40 respondents (40%) had hypertension. The average systolic blood pressure is 127,95 mmHg. While diastolic blood pressure gets an average is 81,94 mmHg. The statistical test result gets the p value of noise intensity with hypertension is 0.001, RP = 4.104 and 95% CI (1,897 – 8,878), there is a relationship between the intensity of noise and the incidence of hypertension. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is a significant relationship between noise intensity and hypertension.
