ABSTRACT
Title: Assessing COVID-19's Impact on Education, Social Dynamics, and Student Well-being in Pakistan: Survey

Background: The COVID-19 outbreak had a profound impact on all aspects of society. To curb the spread of the virus, individuals were required to self-quarantine at home, leading to significant implications for mental health. Issues such as frustration, stress, and depression became widespread.
Method: The researchers used random sampling to survey 650 individuals from various educational institutions in Lahore, Pakistan, representing different age groups to assess the pandemic's effects on students.

Overall, 38.3% of students expressed negative sentiments towards online classes, with the highest dissatisfaction among the 18-22 age group. The study also revealed that participants used various coping strategies to manage stress and anxiety, seeking support from loved ones. Additionally, the research examined student engagement on social media platforms across age groups. The findings highlight the need for public authorities to implement necessary measures to mitigate the adverse effects of the COVID-19 outbreak on students' learning experiences, mental health, and social well-being.
