This couldn’t be separated from Islamic ideology which is used by Al-wa'ie Magazine as daqwa ’ media for one of Islamic organizations (Hisbut Tahrir Indonesia). Pro dan kontra Ruu anti pornografi dan pornoaksi ini menjadi masalah yang hangat di tahun 2006. Pemberitaan tentang RUU APP jadi sorotan baik di media cetak maupun media elektronik saat itu. Majalah Al-wa’ie adalah salah satu dari majalah Islam yang intensif memberitakan permasalahan ini. Untuk mengungkap gambaran ideologi yang terdapat dalam artikel yang dimuat di majalah Al-wa’ie dan pengaruh dimensi sosialnya di masyarakat, penulis menggunakan analisis wacana kritis model Norman Fairclough.
