Fabrikasi Agen Antimikroba Ramah Lingkungan Berbasis Lapisan Ganda Hidroksida pada Substrat Aluminium Foil

Abstract
Kontaminasi air oleh mikroorganisme patogen merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang membutuhkan solusi disinfeksi yang efektif dan mudah diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk fabrikasi agen antimikroba ramah lingkungan berbasis Lapisan Ganda Hidroksida (layered double hydroxide/LDH) pada substrat aluminium foil yang mudah diproduksi dan diaplikasikan untuk disinfeksi air. Morfologi seperti lembaran memungkinkan pengambilan kembali LDH yang pada dasarnya berbentuk bubuk, dari air yang telah disterilkan sebelumnya secara batch. Pelapisan foil aluminium dengan Mg-Al LDH dicapai dengan merendamnya dalam larutan magnesium alkali, yang menghasilkan pembentukan LDH di permukaan. Material yang dihasilkan dikarakterisasi menggunakan Difraksi Sinar-X (XRD) dan Mikroskopi Elektron Pemindaian (SEM) untuk menganalisis struktur kristal dan morfologi permukaan Uji aktivitas antimikroba menunjukkan bahwa material LDH pada aluminium foil memiliki kemampuan menghilangkan Eschericia coli dengan efisiensi penyisihan mencapai 90,9% dalam waktu 3 jam. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa LDH pada aluminium foil berpotensi diaplikasikan sebagai agen antimikroba ramah lingkungan dan praktis untuk disinfeksi air, seperti air ceret dalam skala rumah tangga.
