Abstract

Lean Manufacturing is an approach to make system more efficient by reducing waste. This approach is done by understanding the general outlook of company using value stream mapping of information and material flow in production line. These activities are classified by value added activities, non-value added activities, and necessary value added activities. This research delivers value stream mapping (VSM) of company including material and information flow.  VSM shows the map of wasting activities in production line. The result of this research is details of activities, that value-adding activity in average 50.30%, non value-adding activity in average 21.83%, and necessary non value-adding activity in average 26.36 %. FMEA shows that the biggest value of RPN is activity that related to jig. Better jig management need to do to reduce waste.
