Abstract [Total Productive Maintenance Strategy for Improving OEE in Industry: A Systematic Literature Review] The problem of repeated machine breakdowns and low efficiency of the production process is still a major challenge in the manufacturing industry. To address this, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is applied as a strategic approach to improve equipment effectiveness and productivity. This article presents a systematic literature review of 50 scientific articles published between 2018 and 2024 that discuss the practice of implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in various industrial sectors. The majority of studies used Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as the primary parameter to measure the success of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), with an average OEE improvement of 10% to 30%. However, various barriers were found, especially in the SME sector, such as budget constraints, lack of technical training, and low management awareness of the importance of maintenance. In addition, the distribution of literature still focuses on medium and large-scale industries, while research focusing on SMEs is still very limited. Thus, there is a great opportunity to develop a TPM implementation model that is simpler, adaptive, and suited to the limited resources of SMEs. This study is expected to serve as a basis for the development of more inclusive and applicable TPM policies, training, and implementation strategies in the future.
