Petugas laboratorium klinik merupakan bagian dari petugas pelayanan kesehatan yang kesehariannya selalu berhubungan dengan spesimen pasien yang mempunyai risiko terinfeksi oleh berbagai macam penyakit, khususnya bila tidak disiplin dalam penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif analitik dengan desain penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi experiment design). Jumlah sampel 38 orang petugas laboratorium kesehatan yang berada di Wilayah Kota Banjar. Analisis data meliputi analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada uji independent t-test antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen, pada posttest II untuk variabel pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktek penggunaaan APD. Ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada uji paired t-test variabel pengetahuan, sikap dan praktek kelompok eksperimen, antara pretest dan posttest II. Media audio efektif terhadap perubahan pengetahuan, sikap dan praktek penggunaaan APD pada petugas laboratorium kesehatan kelompok eksperimen. Clinical laboratory workers is part of health care workers who always associated with specimens of patients who have a risk of getting infected by various diseases, especially when there is no discipline in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The type of this research is a quantitative analytical study with quasi-experimental research design (Quasi - experiment design). Number of samples are 38 health laboratory workers in Banjar region. Data analysis includes univariate and bivariate using paired t-test. The results of the study : There are significant differences of posttest II independent t-test between control group and experimental group, in the variables of knowledge, attitude, and practical use of PPE.
