Penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental. Populasinya 303 orang dengan sampel sebesar 80 responden. Sampel diambil dari TKBM yang bekerja pada kapal yang berbeda, dalam masing-masing kapal dilakukan pemilihan dengan simple ramdom sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang bermakna pengetahuan dan sikap TKBM sebelum dan setelah edukasi penggunaan APD baik dengan metode pemutaran film maupun dengan metode demonstrasi, sedangkan praktek penggunaan APD sebelum dan setelah edukasi tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna. Tidak ada perbedaan antara metode pemutaran film dan metode demonstrasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan praktek TKBM tentang penggunaan APD di tempat kerja. This study aims to analyze the effect of education via the use of PPE screening methods, and methods of demonstration of knowledge, attitude and practice in Port Tenau TKBM Kupang. This study is a quasi-experimental research. Population are 303 peoples with 80 respondents.. Samples taken from TKBM who worked on different ships, each ship in the election with a simple ramdom sampling. Collecting data through observation and interviews. The results showed that there were significant differences in knowledge and attitude TKBM before and after the educational use of either APD or running of a film methods with the method of demonstration. While the practice of the use of PPE before and after education there is no significant difference. There is no difference between running of a film method and demonstration method in improving knowledge and practices concerning the use of PPE TKBM in the workplace.
