Pelaksanaan PMTCT masih belum maksimal hal tersebut dikarenakan masih adanya sikap kurang mendukung yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman tentang HIV/AIDS dan PMTCT. Sehingga harus selalu dilaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi, pengarahan dan pendampingan waktu pelayanan kepada ibu hamil dengan HIV/AIDS. Penelitian dengan kualitatif diskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara secara mendalam dan observasi pelaksanaan praktik pelayanan PMTCT pada ibu hamil di RSUD. Dr. Soedono Madiun. Hasil peneitian menunjukkan bahwa responden telah mengetahui tentang HIV/AIDS dan PMTCT tetapi belum memahaminya sehingga dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan PMTCT masih belum maksimal oleh karena itu peru adanya sosialisasi dan pendampingan oleh organisasi provesi pada saat pelayanan kepada ibu hamil dalam kegiatan PMTCT di RSUD.Dr.Soedono Madiun. Field work results indicate that the respondents knew about HIV/AIDS and PMTCT but have not understood that the implementation of PMTCT services is still not maximized, there fore Perusocialization and mentoring by provesi organization at the service to pregnant women in PMTCT activities in RSUD.Dr.Soedono Madiun.
