Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memodifikasi permukaan zeolit alam dengan TiO 2 dan menggunakannya sebagai fotokatalis, menentukan pH optimum untuk degradasi senyawa pewarna indigo carmine, dan mengetahui pengaruh waktu degradasi indigo carmine. Zeolit alam diaktifasi dan kemudian dibuat menjadi zeolit-H. Zeolit-H kemudian direaksikan dengan TiCl 4 dilanjutkan dengan kalsinasi pada suhu 450°C sehingga terbentuk zeolit-TiO 2 . Zeolit-TiO 2 ini selanjutnya digunakan untuk mendegradasi indigo carmine dengan variasi waktu dan pH larutan. Hasil XRD menunjukkan bahwa terbentuk TiO 2 pada zeolit yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai 2θ 17,42°; 24,99°; dan 29,96°. Hasil FTIR menunjukkan adanya bilangan gelombang pada 316,3 cm -1 yang mengindikasikan adanya TiO 2 pada permukaan zeolit. Hasil degradasi indigo carmine menunjukkan bahwa semakin lama waktu degradasi semakin banyak indigo carmine yang terdegradasi oleh zeolit-TiO 2 dan semakin asam pH indigo carmine semakin besar degradasinya.}, issn = {2597-9914}, pages = {68--71} doi = {10.14710/jksa.19.2.68-71}, url = {https://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/ksa/article/view/18792} }
