STRUCTURE OF WRITING
TITLE / JUDUL
The title should be informative, clear, and concise, with a maximum of 12 words for articles in Indonesian and 10 words for articles in English.
AUTHOR NAME(S), INSTITUTION, AND E-MAIL
The author(s)' names should be listed below the article title, without academic titles, followed by their institutional affiliation and email address. One author must be designated as the corresponding author for manuscripts that are co-authored by a team.
ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS / ABSTRAK DAN KATA KUNCI
The abstract should include the research background, objectives, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions that directly address the research objectives. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. Format: Tahoma font, size 10, italics.
INTRODUCTION / PENDAHULUAN
The research background, the problem(s) addressed, the research void, and the research objectives should be clearly stated in the introduction, which should be approximately 400–600 words in length. The article must be composed in the Tahoma font, with a single-line spacing and a size of 10. The text must be formatted in two columns from the introduction to the bibliography. The utmost number of pages is 15. A minimum of three references from international journals is necessary.
Articles submitted to Jurnal Pasir Laut must be the direct result of original scientific research in the field of littoral and marine resource management that has not been previously published. The journal's scope encompasses the following: (a) coastal and fisheries resources, (b) aquaculture, (c) post-harvest technology, (e) exploitation of fisheries resources, (f) socio-economics and fisheries policy, (g) maritime anthropology, (h) fisheries oceanography, (i) coastal environments and habitats, and (j) marine biotechnology in support of coastal and marine resource management.
RESEARCH METHODS / METODE PENELITIAN
Location of Research
The materials, procedures, and analysis (evaluation) utilized in the investigation are addressed in the research methodology section. The time and location of the research should also be specified. Figure 1 illustrates the research site.
Methods of Research
This section delineates the data collection procedures, which are consistent with the research objectives and established methodological references. Formulas must be accompanied by explanations and descriptions.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION / HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN
Results
The titles of tables and figures should commence with a capital letter, followed by lowercase letters, and should be numbered sequentially. Formulas must be formatted using an equation editor. A period should be used to indicate thousands, while decimal values should be distinguished by a comma.
Discussion
Tables and figures are prohibited in this subsection. Support your interpretation of the results with pertinent references.
CONCLUSION / KESIMPULAN
The research objectives should be directly addressed in the conclusion, which should be written in a concise and plain manner.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS / UCAPAN TERIMA KASIH
Authors are encouraged to convey their appreciation to individuals or institutions that have made contributions to the research.
BIBLIOGRAPHY / DAFTAR PUSTAKA
Relevant and current references must be the primary focus of the bibliography. In addition to their relevance and the current state of development in the field of study, a minimum of 80% of the sources should be primary references, specifically scientific journal articles published within the last 3–5 years.

IN-TEXT CITATIONS / PENULISAN REFERENSI DALAM TEKS
Citations within the manuscript must adhere to the 'name and year' system, which is arranged chronologically from oldest to newest and alphabetically (A–Z). For articles with two authors, both names must be included. For articles with three or more authors, only the last name of the first author, followed by "et al.", should be provided. For instance, Sabdono and Radjasa (2008), Ayuningrum et al. 2019, and Haeruddin 2009a,b,c are examples.
FIGURES AND TABLES / GAMBAR DAN TABEL
1. The article may not directly incorporate the data output generated by statistical software; it must first be transformed into the corresponding figures o tables.
2. The tables and figures must be designated with a name and a sequential number in Arabic numerals. The label for tables should be positioned above the table, while it should be positioned below them for figures.
3. The source must be cited below a table or figure that has been adapted from another source.
GUIDELINES FOR ARTICLE SUBMISSION

REVIEW PROCESS
1. Articles that successfully navigate the initial screening process will be forwarded to peer reviewers.
2. The peer review process is conducted anonymously (blind review). Accepted without revisions;
3. Accepted with revisions by the authors;
4. Rejected, but eligible for resubmission following substantial revisions; or
5. Rejected.
PLAGIARISM SCREENING
A plagiarism screening policy is implemented by the editorial board. Turnitin will be employed to verify the content of each article submitted for this publication, regardless of whether it is entirely or partially original.
DECLARATION OF AI USE
Articles to be published in the journal must include a statement regarding the use of artificial intelligence applications. Briefly explain how you use AI in your article. If generative AI technologies were used in the article, the specific generative AI tool (name and version) and its purpose should be specified.
