Abstract
Neighborhood pada perumahan berpagar secara umum ditinggali penghuni dengan tingkat pendapatan relatif homogen. Kohesi sosial tercipta akibat kesamaan atribut sosial penghuni. Pustaka terkait perumahan berpagar belum banyak memperhatikan pengaruh aspek keruangan pada kohesi sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh ukuran neighborhood pada kohesi sosial penghuni perumahan berpagar. Ukuran neighborhood diukur berdasarkan jumlah deretan rumah yang berhadapan dimana biasa terjadi interaksi tatap muka. Sebagai kasus dipilih dua perumahan kluster di Kota Tangerang Selatan, yaitu Emerald View Bintaro Jaya dan Taman Provence BSD City yang memiliki penghuni relatif homogen dan ukuran neighborhood yang variatif. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode survei kuesioner dengan sampel 80 responden yang disebar pada responden yang berasal dari berbagai ukuran neighborhood. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi linier dengan software Smart-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran neighborhood terbukti berpengaruh pada kohesi sosial penghuni perumahan berpagar. Kohesi sosial tinggi terjadi pada lingkungan dengan jumlah unit yang tergolong kecil sebab penghuni cenderung lebih tinggi berinteraksi dengan tetangganya. Dengan demikian untuk menciptakan kohesi sosial pengembang perlu memerhatikan jumlah unit rumah dalam kluster perumahan yang dibangunnya, terutama jumlah deretan rumah yang saling berhadapan agar tercipta kohesi sosial.
