A careful analysis of the paper entitled “Control of Bidirectional DC-DC Converter for Micro-Energy Grid’s DC Feeders' Power Flow Application” published in Volume 11(2) May 2022 of International Journal of Renewable Energy development (2022), pp. 533-546, https://doi.org/10.14710/ijred.2022.41952 has led me to the conclusion that part of the result presented in this article was essentially similar to another paper authored by Dr. F.D. Esteban entitled “Control of a DC-DC Dual Active Bridge Converter in DC Microgrids Applications”, which had been published in IEEE Latin America Transactions, Vol. 19(8) August 2021, https://doi.org/10.1109/TLA.2021.9475856
In fact, some figures in Dr F.D. Esteban’s original contribution were reproduced without any form of authorisation in the paper authored by Muhammad Hammad Saeed, Wang Fangzong, Basheer Ahmed Kalwar.
This is clearly a case of plagiarism that goes against the publication policy of International Journal of Renewable Energy Development and CBIORE publisher.
The authors were unable to provide a reasonable explanation to the issues raised. The editor therefore feels that the findings of the published article cannot be relied upon and that the article needs to be retracted.
International Journal of Renewable Energy Development prides itself on the publication of high-quality and original contributions. As editor, I offer my sincere apologies to Dr.F.D. Esteban for this unacceptable situation.
