Abstract

Industri jamu dan obat merupakan industri dengan perkembangan signifikan yaitu menyerap tenaga kerja sebanyak 15 juta orang dan terus bertambah seiring dengan minat konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penyusunan strategi keberlanjutan industri yang diimplementasikan pada sektor jamu dan obat di sekitar Kota Surakarta. Adapun responden dari setiap perusahaan adalah manajer produksi, karyawan, manajer HRD, masyarakat sekitar perusahaan, dan dinas terkait. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Metode Delphi untuk memvalidasi indikator, MCDM untuk mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan terkait strategi keberlanjutan industri jamu dan obat, serta penyusunan rekomendasi dengan kriteria indikator dengan bobot rendah dan nilai keberlanjutan tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, nilai keberlanjutan perusahaan A sebesar 0,72 dengan kategori baik, sedangkan nilai keberlanjutan perusahaan B sebesar 0,70 dengan kategori baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa industri jamu pada Perusahaan A dan Perusahaan B memiliki keberlanjutan yang baik. Rekomendasi keberlanjutan industri bagi kedua perusahaan yaitu pembentukan kelompok tani perempuan, pembentukan tim pengelola limbah, pelatihan keterampilan pekerja, koordinasi rutin membahas peraturan pemerintah, dan pemanfaatan media massa untuk mempromosikan produk baru.

 

Abstract

[Strategy for Developing Sustainability of Herbs and Medicine Industry using Multi Criteria Decision Making] The herbal medicine and pharmaceutical industry was a significant growth industry, employing 15 million people and continues to grow in line with consumer demand. This study aims to develop an industry sustainability strategy implemented in the herbal medicine and pharmaceutical sector around Surakarta City. Respondents from each company were production managers, employees, HR managers, the community around the company, and relevant agencies. The methods used were the Delphi Method to validate indicators, MCDM to support the decision-making process related to the sustainability strategy of the herbal medicine and pharmaceutical industry, and the preparation of recommendations with indicators with low weight and high sustainability value criteria. The results showed that the sustainability value of company A was 0.72, categorized as good, while the sustainability value of company B was 0.70, categorized as good. Therefore, it can be concluded that the herbal medicine industry in Company A and Company B has good sustainability. Recommendations for industrial sustainability for both companies include the formation of women's farmer groups, the formation of waste management teams, worker skills training, regular coordination to discuss government regulations, and the use of mass media to promote new products.
