Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi dunia pendidikan memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Setiap perguruan tinggi diharapkan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas untuk dapat memenangkan persaingan dengan perguruan tinggi lainnya. Untuk menghasilkan lulusan berkualitas diperlukan peningkatan mutu dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Dosen sebagai salah satu unsur dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan bertugas dan bertanggung jawab dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Sebagai tenaga pendidik para dosen dipacu untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme agar melakukan kinerja dengan baik. Penilaian kinerja dosen merupakan masalah yang melibatkan kriteria-kriteria dan sering menimbulkan subyektivitas pengambil keputusan. Oleh karena itu perlu aplikasi pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode AHP (Analitic Hierarchy Process) yang diharapkan subyektivitas dalam pengambilan keputusan dapat dikurangi. Output yang dihasilkan oleh aplikasi ini dapat membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam penilaian kinerja dosen.
