Abstract

Title: Implementation Triple Elimination of Pregnant Women in Puskesmas Karanganyar Semarang City Using The CIPP Model

Background: The triple elimination program aims to prevent transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B from mother to child. In a preliminary study conducted by the Semarang City Health Office, it was found that the achievement of triple elimination early detection at the Puskesmas Karanganyar is currently still at 63%. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the implementation of the triple elimination program based on CIPP theory.

Method: This research used the descriptive qualitative method, and the sampling technique is purposive sampling. The variables in this study include context, input, process, and product.

Result: In terms of context, it is important to increase awareness of pregnant women as a follow-up to existing needs and problems. In the input aspect, there are opportunities that can be exploited, such as guidelines, adequate human resources, and adequate infrastructure. In the process aspect, steps such as early detection, follow-up, and recording of reports have been carried out properly. However, there are deficiencies in the ability of health workers to provide education and counseling to pregnant women. In the product aspect, program achievements can be assessed based on the objectives that have been set. The results of the interviews show that early detection and follow-up programs have been achieved.

Conclusion: The triple elimination program at the Puskesmas Karanganyar has been implemented well. There is a need for training for midwives regarding triple elimination, specifically so that they are more skilled. In addition, it is necessary to have IEC media that can be used as a means of education and counseling.
