Abstract
As of 2023, disabled people have a low immunization rate. This cohort’s low immunization rate may be due to a lack of COVID-19 vaccine information. This study aims to assess the Indonesian government’s measures in ensuring and fulfilling the right to access the Covid-19 vaccine for individuals with disabilities through a detailed examination of the vaccination program’s execution across four regions in Indonesia. This study employs a socio-legal framework, integrating insights from multiple disciplines. The analysis indicates that the government has ensured access to information for individuals with disabilities via statutory regulations implemented at both central and regional levels. Several challenges identified involve guaranteeing access to data regarding individuals with disabilities and the proliferation of misinformation within the disability community.
