Abstract

Universitas Bakrie adalah salah satu Universitas swasta di Jakarta Selatan yang mengintegrasikan pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB) ke dalam rencana strategis universitas untuk menuju kampus yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan analisis karakterisasi sampah, mencakup timbulan dan komposisi, penyusunan diagram kesetimbangan massa untuk melihat potensi pemanfaatan sampah serta perancangan strategi pengelolaan sampah. Sampah yang dihasilkan mencapai 35,65 kg/hari, dengan mayoritas plastik, kertas, dan sisa makanan masing-masing sebesar 36%, 33%, dan 25%. Namun, tidak semua sampah dapat dimanfaatkan, sehingga perlu mempertimbangkan kategori pemilahan berasaskan pemanfaatan. Berdasarkan Peraturan Gubernur DKI Jakarta No. 102 Tahun 2021, di Universitas Bakrie, sampah anorganik yang berpotensi didaur ulang sebesar 36%, sampah organik mudah terurai yang berpotensi dikompos sebesar 25%, sampah residu untuk diangkut ke TPST Bantargebang sebesar 35%, dan sampah B3 sebesar 4%, yang memerlukan pengelolaan khusus oleh pihak ketiga. Dari analisis kesetimbangan massa, dengan mempertimbangkan informasi timbulan dan komposisi, ditemukan sampah sisa makanan dan sampah kaca memiliki recovery factor tertinggi, yakni 100%, diikuti oleh sampah plastik sebesar 67%. Pemilahan sampah di sumber yang efektif dapat meningkatkan nilai ini dengan memastikan sampah tidak tercampur dan kurang terkontaminasi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan recovery factor dan nilai ekonomis. Strategi pengelolaan sampah terintegrasi di Universitas Bakrie mempertimbangkan potensi pemanfaatan sampah, analisis kesetimbangan massa, dan kondisi eksisting di kampus dan diformulasikan dengan langkah-langkah terukur melalui: edukasi seluruh civitas akademika tentang pentingnya mengurangi timbulan sampah, penyediaan wadah sampah terpilah, penyusunan program pemanfaatan sampah, penjalinan kerja sama dengan pihak pengelola sampah, serta analisis dan pelaporan berkala untuk evaluasi pengelolaan sampah yang lebih efektif.
