Perbandingan Kadar Substansi P Serum pada Pasien Pre dan Post Operasi Tiroid yang Diberi Analgetik Bupivakain 0,25% dengan Teknik Bilateral Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (BSCPB)

Latar belakang: Operasi tiroid dapat menyebabkan rasa sakit sehingga untuk mencegah masalah ini dengan berbagai modalitas, seperti anestesi regional bilateral superficial cervical plexus block (BSCPB) dengan menggunakan bupivakain 0,25% yang dikombinasikan dengan anestesi umum.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian klinis acak tersamar ganda dengan jumlah sampel 36 pasien. Sampel dibagi kedalam 2 kelompok yang diberikan anestesi regional melalui teknik BSCPB dengan kelompok perlakuan diberikan bupivakain 0,25% dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang diberikan NaCl 0,9% terhadap kadar substansi P serum pre dan post operasi pada pasien yang menjalani operasi tiroid.
Hasil: Data penelitian diperoleh subjek laki-laki sebanyak 7 (19,4%) orang dan subjek perempuan sebanyak 29 (80,6%) orang. Data substansi P post operasi kelompok control dibandingkan kelompok perlakuan didapatkan perbedaan bermakna (p = 0,001). Substansi P pre operasi dibandingkan substansi P post operasi kelompok perlakuan didapatkan perbedaan bermakna (p = 0,004).
Simpulan: Pemberian bupivakain konsentrasi 0,25% melalui teknik BSCPB terbukti menurunkan kadar substansi P serum post operasi.
