Sintesis Fotokatalis ZnO-Al dan Aplikasinya pada Degradasi Fenol dan Reduksi Cd(II) secara Simultan

Abstract
Sintesis fotokatalis ZnO-Al untuk degradasi fenol dan reduksi Cd(II) secara simultan telah dilakukan. Tahapan penelitian meliputi sintesis, karakterisasi ZnO-Al dan uji aktivitas pada degradasi fenol. Metode yang digunakan untuk sintesis fotokatalis ZnO-Al adalah metode sol-gel spray coating dan metode yang digunakan untuk degradasi adalah metode fotokatalisis. Hasil karakterisasi fotokatalis ZnO-Al menggunakan XRD menghasilkan kristal dengan ukuran 15,07 nm dan karakterisasi menggunakan DRS UV-Vis menunjukkan celah pita (Eg) sebesar 2,58 eV. Penurunan konsentrasi dari fenol dan Cd(II) secara simultan adalah lebih besar pada penggunaan fotokatalis ZnO-Al baik menggunakan sinar UV-C dan sinar tungsteen daripada fotokatalis ZnO.
