    abstract = {   Abstract     This study discusses about the extent to which legal protection of the validity of PT Karta Indonesia Global's simple patent certificate based on the Supreme Court decision Number 802 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2019. Juridical normative research methods with qualitative data analysis methods in order to review cases based on the regulations relating to Patents. The results showed that the implementation of patent protection for signs and advertising boxes on motorbikes has not been effective and the Supreme Court Decision No. 802 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2019 which contains the rejection of the plaintiff's petition is correct, because in the application of the law, the Central Jakarta District Court Decision No. 61/Pdt.Sus-Paten/2018/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst. The implementation of patents in Indonesia for simple patents should begin to apply Worldwide Global Patents so that the implementation of simple patent protection is more effective and there are no more similar disputes. Metode penelitian yuridis normatif dengan metode analisis data kualitatif dalam rangka meninjau kasus berdasarkan peraturan-peraturan yang berkaitan dengan Paten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan perlindungan paten terhadap Papan dan Kotak Iklan pada Sepeda Motor belum berjalan secara efektif dan Putusan Mahkamah Agung No. 802 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2019 yang berisi penolakan terhadap permohonan penggugat sudah tepat, karena dalam penerapan hukumnya telah mempertimbangkan Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat No. 61/Pdt.Sus-Paten/2018/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst. Implementasi paten di Indonesia untuk paten sederhana sebaiknya mulai menerapkan  Worldwide Global Patent  agar pelaksanaan perlindungan paten sederhana lebih efektif dan tidak terjadi lagi sengketa yang serupa. Abstrak

Penelitian ini membahas tentang sejauh mana perlindungan hukum terhadap keabsahan sertifikat paten sederhana milik PT Karta Indonesia Global berdasarkan putusan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 802 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2019. Metode penelitian yuridis normatif dengan metode analisis data kualitatif dalam rangka meninjau kasus berdasarkan peraturan-peraturan yang berkaitan dengan Paten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan perlindungan paten terhadap Papan dan Kotak Iklan pada Sepeda Motor belum berjalan secara efektif dan Putusan Mahkamah Agung No. 802 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2019 yang berisi penolakan terhadap permohonan penggugat sudah tepat, karena dalam penerapan hukumnya telah mempertimbangkan Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat No. 61/Pdt.Sus-Paten/2018/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst.
