Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2014-Februari 2015 di Perairan Betahwalang, Demak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey yang bersifat deskriptif. Ukuran sampel untuk pengamatan morfometri dan TKG rajungan betina diambil sebesar 10% dari total jumlah rajungan yang didaratkan (917 ekor rajungan jantan dan 1013 ekor rajungan betina dari total jumlah tangkapan sebesar kurang lebih 9170 ekor rajungan jantan dan 10.130 ekor rajungan betina). Sampel untuk pengamatan fekunditas dan IKG diambil sebesar 10% dari total jumlah rajungan betina yang tertangkap (102 ekor). Sampling dilakukan per minggu secara berurutan di Perairan Betahwalang dengan tujuan mendapatkan data yang berurutan dan berkesinambungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertumbuhan rajungan ( Portunus pelagicus ) memiliki nilai b sebesar 3,166, artinya pertumbuhan rajungan bersifat alometrik positif dengan sex rasio 1:1,1. Ukuran rajungan pertama kali tertangkap adalah 122 mm. Hasil analisa regresi menunjukkan bahwa fekunditas rajungan berbanding lurus dengan bertambahnya ukuran berat dan lebar karapas. Hasil pengamatan tingkat kematangan gonad selama bulan November 2014-Februari 2015 mengindikasikan telur rajungan berada pada kondisi ovigerous dan non-ovigerous dengan nilai indeks kematangan gonad yang cukup tinggi dan ukuran pertama kali matang gonad sebesar 136 mm. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of growth and crab morphometric relationships, sex ratio, morphometric relationship to fecundity, as well as the level of maturity and blue swimmer crab gonad maturity index. This study was conducted in November 2014-February 2015 in the Betahwalang waters, Demak. The method used in this research is descriptive survey method. The sample size for morphometry and female crab TKG observation was taken by 10% of the total number of landed crab (917 male and 1013 female of the total catch of approximately 9170 male and 10 130 females). Samples for fecundity and IKG observation was taken by 10% of the total numbers of female crabs caught (102). Sampling was done weekly in a row in the Betahwalang waters with the purpose of obtaining data sequentially and continuously. The results showed that the growth of crab (Portunus pelagicus) has b value of 3.166, indicating that crabs’ growth is allometric positive with sex ratio of 1: 1.1. First caught crab size is 122 mm. Regression analysis showed that the crab fecundity is directly proportional to the increase in the size of the weight and width of the carapace. The observation of gonad maturity level during November 2014-February 2015 indicates crab eggs were in ovigerous and non-ovigerous condition with gonad maturation index value that was quite high and size of maturity is 136 mm.
