Setengah dari responden mengatakan memiliki pengalaman yang baik di tempat kerja mereka, persepsi kerentanan adalah 53,3%, persepsi kegawatan 56,7%, persepsi respon yang efektif adalah 63,3%, kemampuan persepsi-diri adalah 53,3%, faktor rekan pendukung adalah 66,7%, manfaat dari pelatihan 63,3%, dan pengaruh dari tes kesehatan yang mendukung adalah 63,3%. Ada tiga faktor yang secara bersamaan mempengaruhi niat pekerja dalam mencegah HIV dan AIDS yaitu persepsi kegawatan HIV dan AIDS 79,528 kali lebih besar, faktor rekan pendukung 33,724 kali lebih besar dan status perkawinan telah menikah 14,609 kali lebih besar. This was an explanatory research, with cross-sectional type and both of quantitative (survey methods) and qualitative approaches. The respondents in this study were Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) that has been working abroad. The results of research indicated that 60% of respondents intended to prevent HIV and AIDS infections and 90% of respondents had less knowledge about HIV and AIDS. Half the respondents said having good experience in their workplaces, susceptibility perceptions was 53.3%, criticalness perception was 56.7%, effective response perception was 63.3%, self-ability perception was 53.3%, the supporting colleague factor was 66.7%, the benefits to provide training was 63.3%, and the influence of supporting health tests was 63.3%. There are three factors that simultaneously affecting to workers intention in preventing HIV and AIDS such as perception about criticalness of HIV and AIDS 79.528 times greater, the factor of supporting colleagues 33.724 times greater and marital status of have married 14.609 times greater.
