DSSC merupakan sel surya generasi ketiga yang terdiri dari semikonduktor TiO 2 yang diletakkan pada substrat kaca berkonduksi dan direndam dengan sebuah zat warna. Zat warna sebagai Zensitizer yang digunakan berasal dari buah buni ( Antidesma bunius L ) dan substrat yang dipakai berasal dari kaca LCD ( Liquid Crystal Display). Konstruksi DSSC menggunakan sistem berlapis ( sandwich ) yang terdiri dari elektroda kerja (semikonduktor TiO 2 -zat warna) dan elektroda lawan (karbon) yang keduanya diletakkan pada kaca berkonduksi serta elektrolit supaya terjadi siklus elektron. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan DSSC dengan sensitizer dari buah buni ( Antidesma bunius L ), mengkarakterisasi DSSC serta mengetahui efisiensi dari DSSC. Hasil analisis menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) menunjukkan Morfologi permukaan lapis tipis TiO 2 pada perbesaran 5000x dan 40.000x yang beronggga-rongga dengan ukuran berkisar antara 135-693 nm dan penampang lintang lapis tipis TiO 2 menunjukkan lapis-lapis homogen dengan ketebalan 25 μm, analisis dengan spektroskopi uv-vis menunjukkan zat warna buah buni menyerap cahaya pada λ 525, analisis dengan difraksi sinar X menunjukkan intensitas pola difraksi cukup tinggi dengan puncak utama pada 2θ yaitu 25,4093 dengan jarak antar bidang ( d ) sebesar 3,50255Å. tegangan maksimum yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,223 V dengan kuat arus maksimum sebesar 0,179.10 -3 A dan efisiensi yang dihasilkan sebesar 3,3 x 10 -5 %.}, issn = {2597-9914}, pages = {70--77} doi = {10.14710/jksa.11.3.70-77}, url = {https://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/ksa/article/view/15100} }
