Keuntungan penggunaan elektrolit padat adalah material ini tidak menyebabkan kebocoran elektrolit sebagaimana elektrolit cair yang digunakan pada baterai, sehingga dapat meningkatkan keselamatan baterai. Pembuatan elektrolit padat dilakukan dengan metode sol-gel, yaitu dengan mencampurkan larutan natrium asetat, mangan asetat, kobalt asetat dan polivinil alkohol (PVA), pengadukan larutan selama 1 jam, penambahan NH4OH 0,5 M untuk mengkondisikan pH sol mejadi 8,3; 9,3 dan 10,3. Lalu, sol diaduk kembali selama 2 jam dan selanjutnya diuapkan pada suhu 60°C selama 40 jam. Gel yang diperoleh dikeringkan pada suhu 175°C selama 12 jam dan dikalsinasi pada suhu 800°C selama 4 jam. Hasil yang diperoleh dikarakterisasi menggunakan difraktrometer sinar-X (XRD), mikroskop elektron (SEM-EDS) dan LCR meter. Disimpulkan bahwa senyawa komponen penyusun elektrolit padat terdiri dari NaMnO 2 , Co 2 O 3 dan Co 3 O 4 . Variasi pH sol mempengaruhi konduktivitas listrik elektrolit padat, peningkatan pH meningkatkan nilai konduktivitas listrik. pH 9,3 merupakan pH optimum untuk menghasilkan produk, dengan nilai konduktivitas listrik tertinggi yaitu 373 × 10 -8 Scm -1 , dengan formula NaMn 1,557 Co 0,443 O 4 dan ukuran aglomerat 1,591 μm.}, issn = {2597-9914}, pages = {39--43} doi = {10.14710/jksa.18.2.39-43}, url = {https://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/ksa/article/view/18454} }
