Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan ekstrak daun jarak pagar ( Jatropha curcas L.) sebagai larvasida nyamuk Aedes aegypti serta mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi jenis senyawa larvasida yang terkandung dalam ekstrak daun jarak pagar ( Jatropha curcas L.). Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol. Ekstrak kental etanol dipartisi berturut-turut dengan n-heksana dan etil asetat. Dari hasil uji aktifitas larvasida terhadap fraksi n-heksana, etil asetat dan air diperoleh bahwa fraksi etil asetat memiliki aktifitas paling tinggi dengan nilai LC 50 0,11%. Fraksi etil asetat kemudian difraksinasi menggunakan kromatografi cair vakum sebanyak dua kali hingga diperoleh isolat aktif (fraksi EG3). Isolat fraksi aktif diduga mengandung asam fenolat yang menyerap sinar UV-Vis pada λmax 227 nm dan 251 nm. Hasil analisis ini diperkuat dengan analisis spektrum inframerah yang menunjukkan adanya gugus fungsi O-H ulur, C-H aromatik ulur dan C=C aromatik yang menandakan adanya senyawa fenol. Adanya gugus fungsi C=O, C-O dari asam karboksilat dan benzen tersubstitusi menandakan adanya asam karboksilat, di mana gugus fungsi yang dimiliki isolat identik dengan gugus fungsi asam fenolat secara umum.}, issn = {2597-9914}, pages = {42--45} doi = {10.14710/jksa.16.2.42-45}, url = {https://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/ksa/article/view/17922} }
